Somewhere between all the dating apps, and video games, and endless work on a career that'll probably never go anywhere, true love still exists, and that's what I'm trying to explore with this song. Taking the nostalgic feeling of that first, cautiously optimistic meeting with someone you care about, and cradling it in a catchy Bleepy-Bloopy video game melody, and then contrasting it against the melancholic chords of the feared, yet inevitable question "Where did all the time go, and do I still I feel the same way?"

Princess is just kinda where I'm at with relationships right now. Maybe it's relatable?
